Kaid sure loves him as well, and believe it or not he does love to help me change his diaper and clothes, what a good helper!! My sister will love this shot.. How did I do Kris?

Just Chiiling watching me babble his name to smile.. Yeah, not gonna happen..

One Step Closer...

I Have been reflecting a lot lately, and where We want to see our family.  People that know me, and Us, know that Both me and Kent were Raised in the Church, to Amazing parents.  From life choices, we found ourselves trying to get back to what we once had.  Long story. Before we Moved out of our ward and Amazing friends in Gresham,  we had an AMAZING missionary, Elder Eaton.. There were others.. They all were great.  However This elder will never know what he did for us. More than anything he was A true Friend, Being judged and stereotyped were always something that I was worried about.. ( Silly I know..) Not living right, I knew I wanted more, I knew there was more to this life for us.  Here me out.. I had never really Wanted to Go to the Temple by myself, I wanted to wait for Kent, when the time was Right.  I know through reading church books, There are Special things that Happen in the Temple and you need to be Ready and Prepare yourself.  Backing up.. Elder Eaton Planted that seed with me, I am So eternally Grateful unto him. Never giving up  on us, as well as many others that loved us unconditionally. I am happy to say that Last Thursday I met with the Steak president and received my Temple Recommend!  I Fully took for granted what I truly had this whole time, or what could have received before. I know that I have not gone through the temple yet, but as I look down at my Signature and those that signed the Recommend, I Cry....( Yes I am emotional)  I feel a peace that I have never felt before, I am So happy!  I know that this is what I am suppose to for our family.  I am not bummed anymore that Kent's not ready, I need to do this for me.  I needed to come to that first.  I am also posting this blog because, Elder Eaton is Finally Returning home Feb 15 is his home coming in his ward in Idaho Falls We are Going to be there..!( Hopefully)..

Our Newest Addition was Named after Eaton,  Karson Daniel Shannon ,  Thank you So much For being an amazing example to us, and a servant to the Lord, we will always be eternally grateful for you.  We love you

Sing to me Bean!

Today karson was signing all day. For Christmas he got a cute play mat... that he just loves.  I was making dinner and noticed him a sweet song.. he was just talking.. it was the sweetest thing.  When Kent walked in the door, karson was even more excited and started to get even more happy.. here is just a little what we were able to capture.  Our camcorder broke, so this is from my phone.. sorry that it's not the best picture!   I So love this stage.. he's Almost 3 months, and What a Joy!!

2 Great Cars, One Choice

Well... It's that time.. We have been looking at cars, granted we are not going to make the same mistake and get a Brand New car, we need a car for the boys, and more to come.  We have been looking at two, plus the Yukon as well. The GMC Yukon is the Flex Fuel, and Amazingly better with gas, the other two; Chrysler Town and Country Limited.. AMAZING! the chairs swivel,  2 DVDs for the kids, pretty much the best travel van out there. Then there's the Honda Odyssey, this is Amazing as well, the Smooth velvet leather is wonderful, tons of awesome features as well. I am not too sure what we are going to do.  We are not jumping in to this MAV buying experience lightly, so any suggestions would be amazing. I never did think that I would be driving a minivan, however we were both SO shocked at how much they have stepped up and changed the whole stereo typical " Mini Van"  Can you guys tell me what you think? what have you heard? Pros Cons? or suggest a different car?Thanks...

Dre & Blue 7 years

Today was our 7 year wedding anniversary.  I was SO looking forward to spend some time alone with Kent.  After the day I had.. I was counting the hours down!  I think that kaid must have sensed that something was up, that's' why his sudden burst of Attitude. or i could be the fast that school was out for MLK day.  Kent came home singing to me.. it was So sweet, as we got ready to go out to dinner, we were reflecting on 7 years ago... We both just remember it as it was yesterday, I miss that.. and the fun it was. We certainly have fun now, just with two more additions :) As mom came to watch the boys, and Grandpa soon to follow, Kaid was clinging on to Kent.. he had only his little Diaper on. As soon as he saw us leaving, he grabbed his winter boots, and put them on ans said " I go Dada"  Oh... that just melted Kent.

We went to Newport Bay Grill, over here in Vancouver. OH my... they have changed, I was not looking too much into it, but  WE both we in 7th HEAVEN! I got the Crab stuffed Salmon with Shrimp, and Kent with the Beef Tenderloins & Fried onions on top.  I would say it was one of the Best meals,  ( Besides the ones I cook Kent said ) That we have both had in a long time.  Highly Recommended!! As we talked and reminisced about what are plans are this year, and this summer we both had WARM weather on our minds. When we came home, we were warmly welcomed with Kaid, who quickly grabbed my jacket and started to pry off my shoes.  W
e take a picture every year, this year kaid was wanting in on the
action, so we thought it was cute.. though now we should have had Karson as well.  I am SO very blessed to have such an amazing loving husband!

I can not figure out for the life of me, how to rotate this.. I have tried.. anyone know? I have changed it in my mac, but it does not show the changed one :(

Got Mascara?

As I was tending to Karson this afternoon in the living room, I was assuming that kaid was in his room playing with his Awesome train set.  Hmmm... I did not hear the clang, from the trains on the track, I called his name, and did not hear anything.. As I walked in his room I was very surprised to not see him in there.  Making my way down the hall to our room, there he was,in the bathroom!!  When he looked at me for the first time, I about DIED!!! Then I looked at the  culprit.. MASCARA!  He watches me way too long getting ready, so he wanted to put some on as well.. Poor little dude, he got rather close and got the mascara almost in his eye.  As I got the camera out.. I really embarrassed him he ran away and grabbed a towel from his bathroom, and started to wash it off... These funny moments really make my day, They put a smile on my face. Maybe not so much the makeup on my little boy.. but it's all in fun :) If we do not have some humor in our life's what do we have??

So long Movie Theatre..

We had  family night last night, we went to Red Robin, followed by going to see the Bedtime Story movie.  Kaid was So excited, (So we thought) and Karson was Full, and Fast asleep.  A little background in case you do not know, We took kaid to  Pirates of the Caribbean when he was months old, he Loves the Movies!  He would just sit ( With popcorn of course)  and be so content.  NOT the case anymore.  As we went in, Kent got in line to get some treats he took karson, while kaid and I went in to get seats.  Walking in, the theatre was packed, we always sit pretty much in the same area, however this time we had to sit fairly high, and on the opposite side.   As Kent came to join us, kaid was excited to see his drink and popcorn!  we got about 35min into the movie, ( just to when it was getting really good) and karson woke up... screaming bloody murder!  Ahhh... So I tried to nurse him really fast.  Strike One.. that was not working, tried his diaper. Strike Two.. I then tried to burp him maybe.  Strike Three.. I got up and proceeded to walk out to give the poor people around us a break.  WOW!  All heck broke loose, Kaid is a 100% Mommy's boy..  As I walked out.. I could here him scream my name from the back of the theatre.   Then I see him bolt loose from kent and Run down the stairs,            ( screaming my name the whole time mind you...) until he got to me.  Once he came to me, he was So upset, he ran back towards where daddy was!  Well.. this was right in front of all the innocent people that were trying to watch the movie.  Kent thought that kaid found me and everything was great, he could not see that kaid was flailing on the ground in the front of the theatre, all sprawled out  on the ground watching the movie with his hands placed behind his head.  Trying not to get So upset, I called for him, Nope that was not working. Eventually kent saw that Kaid was running back and forth from the front of the stage, to where people would walk, trying to get attention.   We all walked out and gratefully got our money back!  Though we both we so bummed we wanted to see the end.  It's So sad because I think this was the last time we take our boys ( For awhile) to the theatre.   Even when we went to go see Wallie, kaid was bored.  Yeah... the good times are gone.. the movie times that is.. We both think though because kaid is structure boy, and we sat in a completely different area, that's what got him all out of his routine..  Also that this movie was not a cartoon, with Cars, or Trucks!
