The Day is Oct 27th!!

  Sorry It's turned this way.. I have not a clue how to rotate it..

Well... the day is Set... October 27th, I check in at 6:30am! I am SOOOOOO excited, and nervous at the same time.  I could not have done this process with out having the most AMAZING doctor in the world.. and husband. I am trying to iron out all the plan's for kaid this week.. and getting the last min baby things all tied up.. I am still so in shock.,, it's really going to happen, now there is a date to be induced, it's more surreal. 

I just wanted to give everyone the update.. I am trying to collect addresses, please please, If you read this, can you please post your address.. I have not called everyone, and even if you think it's not you, just give me it anyways... I want to make sure I send out all the birth announcements.. Well I hope to post at least one more before I go in to the hospital.. if not, soon there will be a Family Of 4..

Pun'kin Patch

Saturday we went to Sauvie Island Pumpkin patch. It was So much Fun... We have never been there, and now we are going to come every year!  All week I was telling kaid we were going to get pumpkins, and see animals at the pumpkin patch. Kaid Clearly said  " Pun  Kin " not together, but still so defined we knew he knew what we were planning.

Being the photog, I was not in any photo's.. it's OK by me, just capturing life's little excited moments with kaid was So Awesome!  We were not too sure how he was going to do with the Animals, if he would run, or get scared.  Oh.. Quite Opposite, he ran right up to the Cow, did the sign for cow, said it and then went in for the pet!  He did that with all the animals, We were So So So proud of him! When it started to get dark, we took the Hay ride, it was a bit too bumpy for me, as I thought I was going to have the baby right then.. We got out, and walked the way back through the pumpkins. We said to kaid, " ok.. go pick out your pumpkin"  Man you did not have to tell him 2x. He walked around and around.. looking carefully.. Ahha! He found one, it was not big at all, but just perfect for him to carry! and He was So happy that he carried it all him self!Thanks Sauvie Island.. now I know what people are talking about, it was So much fun.. the best thing of all was, we thought that it would be way busy.. not the case.. it was just perfect!

Baby Shower TIme.....

What a awesome time it was..The shower started at 5pm, and Gelly was so prepared. She did such a great job.  Sandy did amazing on the cupcakes and the cute games.. One of witch I was brain dead, I had no clue the scrambled words.. I must say it was pretty funny. Way to go Kari & Nola :) Being around friends and family was such a nice time.  Having moved to Vancouver, I have felt so alone I know that all my friends are just a call away, but still.. this day made me feel like I was not moved, it was such a nice time. Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate my special time.  I am going in on the 27th to have this little dude, so 2 weeks and counting :)

OK, so it's Such a bummer when your kiddo's are sick huh.  Since kaid is in kindergarten I am more freaked out by all the more germs. Nonetheless, he got sick!  Monday night Kent checked in on him and he was throwing up, it was so sad, Kaid is such a ball of energy, and all day Tuesday he just melted in my arms like play dough.  I had my Pre-nat Dr. Apt, so Kaid went right along with me.  He was just so content, I was a little happy that he was with me and not in school, as these moments of him being so calm are priceless.  As I sat in the Dr. Office room, kaid was just sitting beside me, rubbing my hand like he knew i was going to have something done  It was so tender.  As my Dr Came in and proceeded to ultrasound my tummy, kaid perked up and was so amused at what was going on.  In this picture he's my little Sherpa boy!

BUDDY WALK!!

I can not believe it's been 4 years since our first buddy walk.  This Was such a special day, the registration started at 10am, with the walk following at 11am.  I thought that I charged my camera and got everything ready the night before, well.. I was So sad that I only was able to take a few shots before my camera died.

The buddy Walk had a Huge turn out, It is always so neat to be among these special souls, and to see each child interact with one another.  As we walked with kaid, around the Rose Quarter, he saw a group of little boys that were playing around the fountain.  As Kent and I watched him playing we noticed he was playing SO much different with these little kiddo's.  When a child fell, he would stop, hold out his hand and wait until they got up.  He does do this with all kids, but something was So different, it was like he was just so comfortable with them, this one little boy had a balloon sword, and kaid was quiet interested in it, as the little boy came up to kaid, he came right up to him, kaid touched his face, and put his head in to the little boys head, tocuching it ever so softly. It was So brief, about 4 sec, however I felt, a Strong impression that Kaid knew these little spirits before.  I tried not to cry in front of everyone, I know it's a little odd, but I can not help how I felt, It was SO Strong.  He then smiled at the little boy, and ran around to the other's, as to say hello.  These sweet moments I would not trade for anything.  I am so grateful that my brother, and his wife Angelica came, and her father joined with my lovely parents.  After walking around the rose quarter,at the finish, you walk up the large stairs case, People were screaming, " Go Kaid GO!! Yeah Kaid!! You can Do it!!" Kent, Me & kaid were the only one's at that brief moment going up the large stairs we were the on. Kaid was So Excited! hearing our family, screaming, Cheering, You can Do it Kaid! Go KAID Go!! He booked it up the stairs So Fast!  Greeting us at the top of the stairs, was a Teen-age Girl with Down syndrome, saying to Kaid " Good Job, You did it!"  And handed him a bag.  This was Just such an emotional day for me, man I am So Pregnant.. I cry all the time, Still... I am so glad to have an organization right at my finger tips to support me, and to give me hope.  Thank you!

So... a typical day for me looks like this.....

7:30 am Wake up... normally, by Kaid thrashing around the living room for a DVD.

7:35  movie on, trying to snuggle with kaid... almost impossible.

8:00am  Make Breakfast, normally Cold cereal, or eggs, keeping it simple..

8:30 am  Take 2 Pepcid Pills, and Pre-natal-vitimans, Give Kaid his Medication

9:00am  Clean up Breakfast, clean the kitchen,

9:15ish am  Story time with Kaid... He piles the books on too..

10:00am  Bath Time, He Love's Bath, and Its a good time for him to Calm down.. before school

10:30 am  The Hard " What to wear day" for kaid.. He picks out what he want, and Well.. I normally say " No" and find something that we both like.. Is that bad? lol

10:45 am  Put a DVD on for Kaid, normally Signing time's or Scooby-Doo

10:50am, Give or take, Sneak off to take a shower myself.. sucking down a glass of water and a banana on the way.

11:15 am, Take 2 more Pepcid Pills, Heartburn is Bad.. normally Every Morning I am in Pain..

11:15am, Snuggle time, Wait for the DVD to be done, so we can talk about school, and his day he's going to have.

12:00pm Lunch time, Hardest time of the DAY.. Picky boy just wants Yogurt 24/7! I make mac n cheese, and that seems to please him for the most part. I fix myself something yummy as well..

After lunch we clean up, wash our hand, brush our teeth, and get ready for the bus.

12:35pm  I walk him downstairs, to wait for the Bus.. we normally sit out side until she arrives.

12:40 ish, Mrs. Ellen the bus drive arrives, Kaid is Happy now! He leans over plants a wet one on me, and walks on

the big bus. As he gets him self situated in the seat, he does all his signs to me; I love you, Play, Excited, Share,Friend.

It's So Precious.  School means so much to him, also riding the bus it means he's growning up.. Boo hoo.... I still get teary eyed..

So from 12:40 ish -- 3:45pm  I have PLAY TIME!!! Yippee!!! It's SO nice to be in the Quiet!!

Sometimes I take a nap, but lately, i have been getting the nursery ready!  As soon as kent is done painting.. I will

post the pictures.. It's So stunning.. 

I picked out the Fabric for the Crib bumper, it's not your typical nursery.. but I love it!

Oops.. I forgot to mention, I take about 2-3 more Pepci'd pills, and my other Pre-Natal vitamin.

I snack around 2pm, apples, yogurt.. Graham crackers.. it all depends on my mood.

Normally I go grocery shopping, and run the errands that I can not with kaid.

3:45pm  Get Kaid off the bus, and now the fun starts... JUST kidding..

Kaid normally runs to the fridge and gets out what he wants,

We then Sit on the Couch, and go through his Back Pack, looking what he did in school.

Because kaid can not talk to me about school, I have a journal I put in his back for his teacher, to tell me about his day.

After Reading that.. If he had a good day, he gets a sticker, on his chart.. And if the day was challenging.. well.. we

just say tomorrow will be better.

5:10ish, start with dinner, normally if I know what we are having.. it's done, but not typically.

6:00pm  Eat dinner,

7:00pm clean up the kitchen, kent loads, cleans up the table..

I take 2 more pepcid, and a gallon of water... lol.

7:15ish, Bath time Again... Good thing we do not pay for water.. lol.

8:00pm Quiet time, Kaid picks out books for us to read, This is Daddy and kaid's time too.,, so they normally play before

bedtime.

9:00pm Bedtime.. No Exceptions... We are still trying to leave the room with out him getting out.. Any Suggestions?

We normally have to lay down with him until he falls asleep.. after prayer, and book time.. it's LONG.. I am trying to get in a habit, but It's Hard for him to stay put.

9:30pm.. Hopefully he's asleep by then, me and Kent have our alone time.. Catching up on the day, looking ahead what's for tomorrow.. watch a little Tv.

11:00pm, Try to clean the house.. Quietly.. I am a Night Owl! So, I love to organize, It's still so messy, as we just moved, but it's fun finding new places for things..

12:30am, normally when I crash, I think that's The Very latest.. Sometimes, it's more like 11:30pm...

Then.. My day starts all over again..

This is a Non-busy day.. Now through in my Dr. Appt. or Kaid's School Night, and its more crazy.  I am going to start

him in Pe-wee indoor Soccor in a few weeks, So.. we will see how that goes..

Just wanted to say, I do not know where I would through out my day with out PEPCID!  It's in my purse,

the Car, the Diaper Bag... Everyplace..

Birthday Ladies.. Me & Sandy :) happy Birthday Girl!

Last night, was So much Fun!  Thank you ladies!  We went to Red Robin to celebrate Sandy's and my birthdays Yes we finally turned 23! lol  How much fun it was, just getting out of the house to spend time with everyone was so great.  I am so blessed to have good friends in my life like you all.   It was So nice to catch up with everyone, even though in the back of my mind I was really hopping me and sandy would not have to stand up on the chairs, and have the Red Robin Birthday song... Well.. it happened :) It was not that bad..though..

 Thanks Kaleigh for the Pomegranate Blueberry Lemonade referral.. It was SO good.  Thank you Kari, Lori & Sarah.. You are all so sweet.  Thank you So much to Alisha too, we went to her house after and had Yummy Cake and Milk! Man that was SO good! Little Baby K, loved it too.. he was kicking all the way home.. Love you All!
